i am pretty sure that everyone here are aware of "peanut butter". Peanut butter is a food paste or spread made from ground, dry-roasted peanuts. But The Ones we buy from the market are not quite healthy as they contain preservatives which make them last long, even more than they should had. therefore it is far more better to make it at home and i had prepared it too. the recipe for the same is given below. if you wanna watch it in hindi then just click here to reach out my youtube channel peanut butter video.
ingredients:
- PEANUTS = 400 gm
- SALT {OPTIONAL} = 1 PINCH
- HONEY = 1 TBSP
- SUGAR {OPTIONAL} = 1 TBSP
- COOKING OIL {OPTIONAL} = 1 TBSP
procedure:
- Step 1: Dry roast the peanuts. Stop roasting the peanuts as soon as they turn light brown in color. the difference between peanut and groundnut is that peanut is that edible part of the groundnut; that pink-pink wrapping one or you can also say that fully peeled white colored one. on the other hand groundnut is the raw part that we Receive from stores. here we are using peanut with that pink covering too as it's a tough task to peel them off.
- Step 2: Keep the roasted peanuts away for about 10 minutes to cool them Down.
- Step 3: After 10 minutes, remove the skin of peanuts by rubbing them with a towel. If You Didn't Understand How To Do This Kindly Refer To The Video.
- Step 4: Grind the peanuts in a mixie grinder 2-3 times for approx 20 seconds until it forms a fine powder. In Many Cases You Would Observe Tiny Drops Of Oil On The Surface Of The Mixie.
- Step 4: Add 1 tbsp of Honey, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1 tbsp of refined oil or peanut oil. Adding salt is totally optional. Many may add a bit to much than a pinch which can spoil its taste so please only add salt if you can add it correctly else add the least of it. As peanuts have their own oil, we will add only i tbsp.
- Step 5: Grind the peanut butter again for 20-30 seconds until it forms the desired result. I should form a thick paste. To see how thick it should be you can refer to the video below.
- Step 6: Check the taste of the peanut butter. You can add sugar or honey again as per your taste.
You can store the peanut butter in an airtight jar or container for about a month.
Peanut butter can also be directly eaten or consumed by applying it on bread, roti, paratha or chapati.
